I am buying the Canon 7d, And am debating between the Tokina 11 - 16mm and the Tamron 17 - 50. Obviously the Tokina lens is wider than the Tamron, But I am unsure about which lens to get for the line of work I do.
I will be shooting mostly weddings and models. And doing Videography as well for both occasions and the once in a while Music video, On one end i'd like those more "artsy" photos with that Tokina, But the Tamron seems like a very well all around type of lens.
But on the other hand I was planning on getting the Canon 7d Kit, That comes with the 28 - 1 o something. So should I just not get that and have the MM field range of 11 to 50.
I have no intentions for any photos where I need to be far away.
