Which is the good option Gym or martial art?

Basically i m a skinny guy. I used to have my workout in gym. I m interested in martial art. Now i m confuse about both options. What will be the effect in terms of weight gain?
 
martial art is always better which ensure ur fitness where surety of fitness at Gym is comparatively low.
 
To gain weight you should first eat properly and then go to gym. After that if you get time then martial art.
 
None of them will benefit you if you are skinny... Eat loads of healthy food, such as salads and chicken etc, then go to the gym (after waiting at least 1 hour) to burn off some excess calories, and to turn your new found flab into muscle. You can choose to do martial arts on the side. But if you only want to do one, try going to the gym until you have a reasonably good body weight and strength, then switch to martial arts, not forgetting to keep yourself in good shape.
 
as a gym go-er and non-professional body builder.............i wud say go to the gym to build strength and muscle.............and then do your martial art............it will b easier then...and the gym will build ur flexibilty and stamina too.............plus, sensei's like to punish with push-ups sumtimes on your knuckles.........
