Which is the best new android phone about...

IC = the name electrical engineers used to use as a "posh" name for chips on a circuit board back in the 80s and 90s, and anyone using it today is just trying to pretend like they know more than you.

It's worth trying taking it back to the shop. They may offer a replacement free of charge if you have proof of purchase. On the other hand they may want to send it away. Just depends on the shop.

"Totally Agree best deal by a new device, fix and old device never the same" isn't hard to figure out. He's saying he totally agrees with you, you'll get the best deal if you buy a new device. Getting the old device fixed isn't the same as getting a new device (because new device = faster, better, newer OS, etc).

On top of a new device being better (as far as specs go), an old device that has been repaired never feels the same. I think that is the point Wons was trying to make

Like others have said, it would not hurt to ask the shop if there is anything they can do for you (new device / swap). The worst that can happen is they say "No" and you have to buy a new phone.

I agree, but remember English is not everyone's first language.

When you consider that it seems most teenagers can't write in anything other than text-speak these days, you have to read most stuff on the internet out loud in your head anyway to understand it. So in the same way "l8" sounds like "late", obviously "by" and "buy" sound the same too so it translates easily.

I have no qualms with anyone who cannot genuinely type in English.
Hell, I'm complete dogsh*t at speaking Spanish or German - so I'm not having a pop at anyone.

I'm just saying it's hard to understand sentences when the context is taken away by misspellings.

Yes, I understand txt speak, I just don't use it because it's a bastardisation of a once proud language.
