Which is the best brand for professional photography cameras? Please HELP?

Hi, well if you know about this maybe you could help, really need some opinions i don't want to buy something useless. i've heard that the best brands on professional photography cameras (EOS) are canon and nikon but they tell me they aren't so sure (since they don't know about professional photography). what ever you can come on with its okay.
 
Definitely Nikon and Canon. I am a Nikon shooter. Handle them both and choose for yourself. If you are going to try to shoot pro look at Nikon's D300s, D700, and D3. Or Canon's 50D, 7D, 5D MII, and 1D MIII
