Which is more important: Calories Consumed or NET Calories?

You cannot measure how many calories you burn with complicated machines in a Laboratory so concentrate on what you eat.
Eating is a question of balance.
If you eat more calories than you burn you gain weight
If you eat fewer calories than you burn you lose weight.
If you eat and burn the same number of calories you stay the same.
Weigh yourself once a week at the same time. If you have stayed the same weight then you have got your eating balanced.
If you have gained a lb or 2 then eat a bit less during the next week.

Calories= how much you consumed
NET calories= how much you consumed minus how much you burned (exercise)
i have a barrier of 1300 calories per day. and sometime i go over but i burn most of it off so im down to about 100 calories. should i be more focused on how many calories i eat or the NET calories?
Which one should i be caring more about!?
