Tickle my pickle

(PLEASE READ ON...)? So I am trying to decide between Marine Infantry training or Army Infantry training (with Airborne) because those are the two military jobs I am interested in. I have 3 friends in Army Infantry and 2 in Marine Infantry (one is my brother actually). The Marines said they have to do a 14 mile hike to graduate SOI, Army said they have to do a 17 mile hike at the end of a week long 'combat' test called FTX. The Marines said they were given 8 hours of sleep everynight (except a few scheduled events, in which case they were given 6), where the Army soldiers said they were given 6 every night (a few cases where they were given 4-5). The Army soldiers said the Drill Sergeants aren't as "in your face" as Marine Drill Instructors, but that they still punish you in the same way for messing up. So my question is, which do you think has OVERALL harder mental/physical training? Or do you think they are even?
Marine Infantry is 12 weeks of boot, 2 weeks at home, 7 weeks of SOI.
Army Infantry is 16 straight weeks with no at home breaks, 10 weeks BCT, 6 weeks Infantry School (and then 3 weeks Airborne).
Need help choosing, I do wanna be a Marine just because the title does seem more honorable, but they are backed up almost a year for training...
