Nebraska's Eric Martin's illegal helmet- to- helmet hit, or Oklahoma State's Justin Blackman being pulled over for speeding 92 mph while being under the influence? Which warrants more punishment, or should both players be punished equally?
Alpha- I only brought it up because both players got a one game suspension, when the DUI probably should have gotten more. In my opinion at least.
mrfrijo- only problem with your arguement is how is the player who got the DUI any more respectable than the player who layed out an illegal hit, unintentionally. Blackmon was breaking 3 laws Sunday night. Speeding, driving under the influence, and being under age all at the same time. I get where you are coming from about the game, but no way is the one who is breaking three laws at once more respectable than unintentionally hitting a player helment-to-helment, even if that player may have been a little too excited about it afterwards.
