Which is cheaper? Buy PS3/XBOX360 or PC to play quality games?

I want to play like Call of duty 5. I dont have HDML TV, PS3/Xbox 360 might be cheaper than quality computers, but HDML tv can be very expensive.
 
A $1000 Computer is the cheapest since you don't need to buy an expensive Television in addition to the console, also it has better graphics. But 2nd in place would be a Xbox 360 since its cheaper then Ps3
