Which is better: The Host or the Twilight Saga?

Twilight by far. The Host is too hard to get into, the beginning is wayy to long
 
I haven't read the Host, but I've read Twilight.

Most of my friends who've read the Host say it's better, if that's any help. I can see how that would make sense, since Stephenie Meyer has now published several novels. Her writing has improved a lot from when she started Twilight. So the Host is probably written better.
