Which is better: Ceramic Braces or Lingual Braces?

I'm 19 years old, in college, so I don't want anything visible. Also, Invisalign is pretty much out of the question. They're way more expensive and I haven't heard good things about them, so exclude them as a suggestion.

So ceramic or lingual? Pros...cons? Personal experiences with either?

What would the cost of each of those be as well?
