Which is better Blackberry or Droid from Verizon?

I am looking into getting a new phone and I love all the iPhone options available, however I am a Verizon customer and they don't offer the iPhone but they do offer the Droid. It is a toss up between the Blackberry (and if so which one) or the Droid.
I like going on the internet from my phone but also want it for email purposes too.
