guys, i'm new to this ebook business and reading books; i never read books, so this is new

i have a mac, so Preview works fantastic. the inbuilt dictionary is amazing..actually, the only problem with that is that i want to keep all my ebooks organized, so i need some kind of software...and i don't have any handheld device..
so i'm going to do all my reading on my mac. and the main criteria is that i need a dictionary option in the software....with preview, right-clicking the word gives me an option to search it in the dictionary or on google..so any such option is a must for me (i'm looking to improve my vocabulary, so this is essential
)..
have any suggestions?
