...freshman year of college? So I'm into my second day of college, but right now it's only freshman. And I've kind of observed that I have two ways to "meet people"/make friends.
Either I can be really brief and make a bunch of small talk for a month, but not develop too many close friendships. Or I can concentrate on about 10 or so people and develop close friendships with them, and have a few acquaintances on the side. Which sort of technique is best for developing a good social life?
I live in a freshman only dorm by the way, so some people here are rather immature but there are quite a few decent people who can balance fun and academics.
