Although as cliche as it may sound, stick to law. Leave visual arts as a passion for your spare time because out of the two, it is law which will get your further in life. Some people may disagree and they probably have points for that, but only a small number of actors/dancers lead good lives after highschool and after college. The other actors/dancers may all have talent, but will not earn much money, some whom I know who hardly can pay rent. Going further in Law however can take you to many areas of occupation. You may work at a firm, help out at a firm and move up and although there are also many lawyers out there, persistence and continuation of this study will take you far. But I don't think you should undermine the other choices you have. If you are choosing a highschool to go to, I think it may be a little early to set in stone what you want to be and what you want to continue on with throughout the 6 years. Try and get into other things such as science, english, languages and mathematics and then decide which you prefer. Halfway through year 9, I had already decided for myself that I wanted to be a doctor and now, I ain't so sure about that. despite that though, I love my painting and visual arts and have thus decided to have them as hobbies.
In the end, as wrong as it may seem now, the future is all that matters and you must go with the thing you love and know that will get you far.
happy deciding
