Ok im planning to buy my first car with the help of my grandparents. They give me the loan and i pay them back. They said that if i wanted too they could get me a new car, the only option they have me as its a cheap new car is the 2010 Hyundai Accent or get a used car as the one ive picked out the 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo SS. Which one should i choose?
The Pro's of the Accent is that
1. Its new
2. It has a good warranty
3. Cheap on insurance
4. Good on gas
Now for the Cons
1. Its an import, i know nothing about imports
2. I drove the 2009 Version as a rental and hated it ( you could tell/feel that it was cheaply made)
3. Its more exspensive and would take longer for me to pay off and has horrible resale value.
4. Not fully loaded, base everything, manual tranny, locks, windows etc
Ok now for my second choice. A 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo SS with 95,000 miles. Now i drove a chevy since i turned 16, SO i know how to how to tear apart a chevy and put it back together.The Pros on the Monte are
1. It has the 3.8L V6 which is known to be indistructable
2. This car has been taken care of immaculatly, carfax history report shows that
3. Its cheaper and i could pay it off sooner than the Accent
4. Its fully loaded, leather sunroof power locks etc
Now for the Cons
1. Its used and has 90,000 miles
2, It has no warranty

4. not as good MPG as the accent
