Which iphone case is better as a Christmas gift to my boyfriend?

So it's the shopping season and I need some advice as to which iphone case would be the best idea for my boyfriend.

He is a very energetic young man and loves cars, sport etc. I found two cases from a website, I personally like the pixel one, but I'm guessing he might like the tyre pattern one as well.

If you sure that he like the tyre pattern one than give that one because he never say no as a true boy friend what ever the gift is. if he has respect for your feeling.
