I am thinking of either Amazon or Blockbuster. I have heard that LoveFilm/Video Island have rubbish service.
Thanks for any help.

blockbuster rental is amazing i used to be with lovefilm and the difference is asounding i can get 9 discs per week of blockbuster but when i was with lovefilm i got 2

ive sent 1 back that was unwatchable everything else ive had off blockbuster has been all right there are visible marks on disc but they still work

Do you not watch many DVRAB? I have heard they restrict how many DVRAB you can get by being really slow at recieving and dispatching.
Also they are apparently difficult to cancel.

General consensus points to Blockbuster being the best option. Amazon is good if you don't mind their limitations. It's a shame Screenselect has gone, it was a good competitor for Blockbuster.

On 3 at a time unlimited, get loaRAB, just as good as any i've ever been with. They are the biggest company out there so bound to be some disgruntled customers.

I've never had any problems with Blockbuster, 95% of the time they turn around the day after you send the DVD back and if it's not then it's the next day. Sometimes the DVRAB are scratched but I always find the newer the DVD player the less likely that is to be a problem.

I've been using them for a year now and I have no desire to change.

I have used blockbuster for three years or so and it is fantastic - especially if you like world cinema has they have a huge selection.

I'm with Amazon, can't really fault the service they provide, when I send the dvd back I get an email confirming they recieved it then before I know it the next one arrives.

My only complaint is not with Amazon but other people who use the service who manage to scratch and leave fingerprints all over the dvd's. I think that must the most comman problem with all dvd rentals but on the plus side only one disc I've rented was unplayable and Amazon sent me another copy without a problem.

I use Amazon, i used to be with Blockbuster but i was lucky if i got 2 DVD's a month, it was pathetic. With Amazon i normaly use up my monthly limit as there is a 4 day period from sending DVD's off to getting another in the post. However some of the DVD's have been very scratched and unwatchable.

They are for me as well, i usually get 12 to 14 films a month off them

The only complaint i have is that i have been waiting for them to send me 2 films (Battle Of Algiers, Au Revior Les Enfants) from my high priority list since august

I was with Blockbuster and they were ok, but I did find the top 4 films on my list were on there for over a year and they never dispatched them to me, but the older films I just put on there to bumph it up I would get pretty quickly. I also found it took months to get any new releases. I cancelled it in the end
