Which History course is easier to take?

History of the United States to 1876 or History of the United States Since 1876.

Like i have no interest in history at all because i am not good with learning history. Which one do you think would be easier for me to take as a semester class. I have no choice so i have to take a history course. Which one would you prefer and think i would be interested in learning about. Which is also a lot easier. Thank you..
 
As a history buff I have to go with US History since 1876. Are you sure you do not have to take both? Most school require a full year meaning 2 semesters in sequence of a particular class.

In US II you will cover major points such a the Great Depression, The New Deal, WWI, WWII, Civil Rights and a perhaps VIetnam and the former USSR/US relationship.
