...close as possible CRT tv? I bought an LG42LD520 2 weeks ago but compared to my old non hdtv, the red's on the new tv is not as bright and intense as the old one. The red's look more like a maroun red rather than a bright vivid red, the way I like it. I also have the HD channels from Dish network connected to my new tv with hdmi cables. The biggest problem that I am having with the new LG tv is that the picture is like a Matte finish rather than a gloss finish the way I like it. I want the picture to be glossy finish with extreme clarity and excellent vibrant colors even though in real life the object in the picture may not be as bright and vibrant. Which tv out there whether it is plasma, LCD, LED etc can I buy to get as close as possible to my old CRT TV. I need something that will give me a glossy finish picture wise that is. I want to stay in the $600 to $850 price range preferrably but I want the best possible picture. I am most likely gonna be shopping only at Walmart or Best Buy. Please give me tv models that I will find in these 2 stores. Costco and Sam's club is ok but I prefer best buy or Walmart. Please email with details. I value my picture quality a lot on a tv.
