I'm pretty basic with my electric guitar and I'm just looking for a compression/sustained sound. A Philosopher's tone is $170 and the BOSS CS-3 is $50 dollars and I was wondering if the Philosopher's tone might be a bit overkill or if the BOSS isn't that great.
