which gps software allows downloadable maps?

hey I dont have 3g, and I want to buy a bluetooth GPS receiver to put under my hood of my car. I see they are only 50 bucks on ebay.

which gps software allows me to download maps to my phone from the internet to a card?

does Tom Tom allow that ? or Route 66?
 
UNDER the hood of your car is going to be worthless, as GPS uses satellites, and thus requires line of site to the skies. Also, you'll want to make sure you get a weatherproofed one.

TomTom, Smart2Go, and Route66 allow you to store the map on a memory card in the phone, while the rest allow you to download on the go via your phone's internet.
