which flip phone 2 get?

Hello,

I currently have the Moto T720 on Rogers in London, Ontario, Canada. I am no longer on a contract, and want to upgrade to another flip phone, since this one isn't reliable.

Can anyone suggest another flip phone? I mainly use it to make and receive calls, and to receive text messages, as I don't bother trying to type out a message on the key pad.

-good signal quality
-good voice quality
-small display screen on outside to enable me to view incoming calls
-good battery life

Can I buy a phone through another place other than Rogers, and then use my old phone's sim card to simply transfer over the address book etc? Hmmm...does the T720 even have a SIM card?

I have heard people use the term unlocked. What does that mean?

My current phone, the Moto T720, works okay, but it sometimes doesn't ring. I'll check my phone and there will be a few missed calls. That is not acceptable.
 
I forgot, as well as being:

I would prefer a flip phone because I store my cell phone in my pocket...and sometimes the screen gets scratched or cracked if stored with my keys.
