which flash should i get ?

i just burnt out the little fill in flash on my nikon D40 and i kinda need it because im doing work for a website on skateboarding and i need high quality photos ( i did get a cover shot using flash ) so now im looking to get another flash the 3 i was looking at was
jessops 360 AFD,- because its cheap
nikon SB400 because its fairly cheap and a good sort of quality
SB600 because its really good and was recommended by a pro photographer
now i don't have a great deal of money and will have to get some money out a bank account saved up for wen i leave school (im 15)
so i don't want to take a lot out of there really
 
The SB600 is far more versatile and powerful than the SB400. It tilts and swivels, I believe the 400 tilts only, and there is some difference in the GN which you can look up and decide if the extra power is worth it. Another option is to find a used SB600 or SB800.

The third party flash may not offer the full range of functions the Nikon flashes will.
