I love history, and want to teach it someday..basically I just want to be in the field of education. But, since my mom is a English prof I know a lot about that, and realize that there is a lot of history to that, and I LOVE writing, so I think that would be a good fit as well. If I was to get my masters in English, or Social Studies..what would be a good doctorate to pair with it in order to work in the university level?
Which field is more promising as a career....English or History?
