so im curious as to which ducati from the past you would like to see revived or a different model segment they dont currently have.

personally i would like the company to bring back the supermono, and i would like them to build a sport tourer that is more inline with the busa or zx14. something really radical like a 1600cc v4 or a supercharged big bore twin.

The MH900e was cool;

But I'd have to say, I think they should bring back the Indiana;

A new supermono would be cool. Id really like to see a new supersport line with the air cooled engines and updated headlights and bodywork. It would make a good track day machine for those of us without a big budget. Plus they sound gooood.

I second that request!

And make it with 1/2 of an 1198R motor, liquid-cooled 4-valve 549cc, 90hp, 285lb. dry weight, it would be a like a really torquey 250GP bike!

A NEW supermono... that would be bitchen.

1/2 1198R motor in a smaller, lighter chassis.

I think any other re-release would tarnish the value of original production versions too much. The supermono never really had a mass production run, but it would be cheaper to make then a superbike and it could be legal in lots of classes for racing. Ducati should really think about this opportunity.

This is the closest thing I ever rode that is anywhere close to that concept, and nothing I've ever ridden since has compared.

Even all of the lightweight race bikes I've had over the years (SV650, Ninja 650, M944) have never had that same combination of a true superbike chassis, ultra light weight, and a bunch of torque. I never rode an NCR Milona, but I would imagine that's pretty close.
