I got burned buying some Motorola software hoping to use my cell phone as a cheesy camera, not knowing in advance that Verizon crippled the software's capabilities. I would like to develop my own software for the Droid and don't want to be hamstrung by a policy that limits me to a subset of the functionality. Anybody have any Verizon-approved APIs?
