Which dirt bike should I get?

I am thinking about getting a dirt bike, but don't want to spend over $800, although I don't want to get something that breaks after a month. I have looked at the ssr's and the coolsters. I've heard that the ssr's break down easily, their swing arms are junk, and you end up spending about as much time riding it as you do tightening bolts; and haven't found out much about the coolsters.

You guys got any suggestions?
