I am a student want to do my masters and phd in astronomical science but very confused if I should do it in astronomy or cosmology. My professor said a career in cosmology is very hard and I might have to end up as an academic which I don't mind but still would like to know what I can expect from the two options.
which degree is better for career? a phd in astrophysics or a phd in cosmology?
