I understand this could be a stupid question but I need help. For example, Mike Richards' cap hit is $5,750,000 but his salary for the 2010-2011 season is $6,400,000 because it peaks in the middle of his contract. Which of these counts against the Flyers' cap for next season? I guess it would be their cap hit, hence the name but can you help me anyways?
