I'm currently a citizen of Canada, but growing up my dream was to study in the USA because I always thought it was known to be the "land of opportunity". Now that I'm entering my senior year of high school, and preparing to apply to numerous universities, I'm having second thoughts about the quality of education I'd be getting if I were to attend an american university. Is it true that Canada, on the whole, maintains a better quality of education than the US?
Here's a list of universities I'm planning to apply to for undergraduate study
CANADA
McGill University
Carleton University
University of Toronto
McMaster University
USA
Syracuse University
SUNY Buffalo
University of Virginia
Drexel University
How about the quality of education for graduate school? Say for example I graduate with a certain bachelor's degree in Canada and decide to attend a graduate school in the USA; Columbia, Cornell, Harvard, Yale, etc. Would the quality of education for graduate school in the Ivy Leagues be better than that of Canada? Please help!
