I have heard it all from NYU to Fordham University. NYU is more prestigious but Fordham has a better core curriculum, both of them are costly, one actually has a campus and I'm pretty sure its safe to assume which one. Also, the student ratio at Fordham is a lot better then NYU and Fordham has more connections or is it NYU? Clear all up this junk and give the straight.
Here is a list of a person in a situation:
- Is at nyu with nearly 100% scholarship, problem is he/she does not connect with people, too much competition, an hour away and no possible hope of dorming, has to wake up 3 hours before class to make it on time and then the huge lines to enter the buildings and does not feel happy there even though if he stays he might be able to have a future but at what cost?
- This same person wants to transfer to Fordham University and knows he/she will be happy there but is not sure because he/she is afraid of failure, not getting such a great future, parents look down at him/her for even thinking about it, but Fordham is willing to pay him/her a nice amount of money but not as close as nyu.
This person wants a future with sciences but changes from here and there. Fordham is closer and enjoys the campus while NYU is far away and detest the environment and people.
This person is planning to make a transfer for the spring semester, should he/she stay at nyu or transfer to fordham? Also if you could answer two more questions, whats the info on fordham and nyu and how are they ranked and how most people see them and how much financial aid would a transfer student get, the same as an incoming freshman?
Once you have given all the information, you will make this person extremely happy and doing a favor for that person to keep it on the down low, its kind of like a situation of going insane or keeping your sanity.
Reason he/she went was because of pressure of parents and other people placed on him/her and parents forced him/her to go there.
