...house COMFORTABLE? W.i. my local area, the weather is finally changing to FALL temperatures.
After the early onset of summer 2010 (Febr. 2010) I have left my Central air unit on COOL. - The temps, being well over the 80F-mark all this time, my air system has been in use.
With the noticed recent weather change from afternoon highs ranging from the 90's to the lower 70's and evening temps dropping below 50 I'm hoping to use less energy to keep my house COMFORTABLE.

Can I expect this result, using Natural GAS as the primary heat-supply with my Central Air system or should I expect using MORE just for the Natural gas (heating) vs. the Cooling during the summer season with using my Central Air system in my house?

My house is a 3bd / 2bth - brick house "in the bullseye" of the middle of the Texas panhandle where we brag "If you don't like the weather, WAIT TEN MINUTES! - IT'LL CHANGE!" <-And it does.
