Should I get a 1989 Lotus Esprit or a 2007-08 Ford Mustang? I'm looking for a car with a fair amount of HP and speed and capable of modifying exterior, interior, and performance. I want a car that someone will also think is cool (including the ladies since the majority don't know much about cars and just judge by the exterior of the car). The mileage is a little less on the mustang but the lotus is a little bit cheaper as well. I'm talking both cars are under $12,000 in good condition! Which car should I get of these two?!?! Or if you think neither of these is a good idea at ALL, then give me a suggestion.
