I know nothing about the 98 Dodge Dakota Sport other than that it is a truck, but I do have a 97 Ford Explorer Sport.
I really like it, it goes through gas like crazy, but I think it's worth it because I feel really safe in it. I dislike the inside because for being an SUV, it feels really cramped to me for some reason. I'm a bit claustrophobic so maybe that's why I have such a problem with it. The two door thing also annoys me to an extent. It appears the same size as a four door, but you don't have as much space inside. It's a good car though, I've never had any major problems with it. It handles really well in the snow...You do feel every single bump though and it really jostles you around. It's like riding a wooden rollercoaster if you go over a pothole. Haha.
