Which car is a better buy? A 2005-2007 Honda Civic, 2004 Toyota Celica, or a

Depends. While I prefer Hondas, it depends on which one is in the best condition and at the best price.
 
I have owned Hondas and Toyotas and the Hondas definitely needed more repairs than the Toyotas. I haven't owned a Mazda but I believe they are more trouble prone than Toyotas and Hondas. But, when you are buying used, the number of miles on the cars and their condition and price are the bigger things to consider. Be sure and have an independant mechanic check over the one you like before you buy it. Many people fail to do this and later pay the price.
 
I personally like the Civics, plus they will most likely have the highest fuel economy for the HP they put out. The Mazda 6 is also a fast, yet frugal car. I personally don't like the last generation Celicas because they are a "chick" car.
