I've talked to all the recruiters. They were some help. But of course they don't give you all the information. I have friends in or living near AF bases. Which is a huge bonus if I actually get placed where I'd pick. I have no family or even a girlfriend at this time. So I'd be living on base for now at least.
Money isn't a big issue. But of course I'd take extra if a branch has better bonus/incentives or whatever. I love traveling. As far as a career, I'd love to do something with photography, video editing, web design or maybe something with computers.
I am leaning towards the Marines just for the challenge and being trained by the best of the best. But I heard they're the worst when it comes to on base living etc. Any extra insight from anyone in the service would be great.
Well I know there are better special forces then the Marines. I just mean as far as basic training, they are the best. (Or so I am told)
I also like the brotherhood and cockiness of the marines. But that's not a good reason to join the branch. But thanks for the answers.
I am pretty much looking at Air Force or Marines. But still open to all others. Also should have added I'm 27. Don't know if that would make any difference in anything. Thou I love my current job, it's time I move on and do more with life.
