im looking at begenning to start programing for the android
and i found plenty of books on amazon.com
like these
Hello Android
Android Programming
Beginning Android
im really leaning toward the Hello Android book, as it appears to be written by google. or at least in conjunction with them.
so it should be very useful in helping me get started
what are your opinions?
 
If you know Java already, then a good book for examples is this one:

Hello, Android is a good book for all around information though. Skip the other 2 you have listed.
