Which bike would you get?

Ok I'm torn between these 2 bikes as a companion for my duc. The BMW S1000rr (most powerful liter bike out now and comes with DTC, ABS, and quickshift) or the 2010 MV Agusta F4 (need I say any more about this bike?). The MV screams beauty, the Beemer screams angry. The debate will never end over the assymetry of the BMW, some like it some don't, but it looks better in person. I have never owned either brand. I want an inline 4 that is not your typical jap bike. Looking for something reliable and fun. What would you guys take?

and please limit responses to these 2 bikes...no "get a streetfighter" or things like that.
 
Go for the bmw.
I had the 09 F4 and it was not exactly what i expected and is not the most reliable of bikes.
On the plus side there is nothing that looks better than an F4 they are just so timeless.
 
checked out the BM at Philip Island[Oz WSBKs]Does look better in the flesh,and certainly has some germanic practicality to it.But apart from being designed by at least 4 separate design teams,who obviously weren't talking to each other,it does come off in every other area as being very Japanese.Some people may even through the RSV4 in the mix.Me im personally torn between the 10'F4,which is not in oz yet,and no pricing [we are told its due in march sometime]!!and getting another Duc[1198].As an aside,spoke to a number of people down at PI with RSV4,and without exception were both happy with bike and the way the distributor had handled the engine recall.hj

Though, I got a look at some special BMW factory paint job (blue and white and whatnot) on Friday and it looked decent.

The only advantage I see of the S1000RR are the ABS and speedshifter. Full horse power isn't available until you're in 4th gear so unless you're frequently on the autobahn or the salt beds, you're not going to be using it very often. The MV does have traction control and has the variable intakes for improved mid-range.

Personally, I wouldn't take the BMW because of it's bizzare styling. It's technology will be available in a few years - probably on the next crop of Japanese bikes next year. Honda already has ABS so they'd just need to adapt it for racing purposes. So, unless you buy the latest and greatest every two years, buy the one you really like.
