So today I bought a, I guess, "beginner", Trek road bike for $800. However, I also had the option of getting an Cannondale road bike for $950. The main reason I got the Trek bike was because it was more comfortable ride...however the dealer there said the Cannondale had more components and was one step up. I guess I can use this Trek bike for several years to come and then upgrade to a more expensive Cannondale bike. But I was just wondering what you all think of them. In general, I am glad I got a road bike so I can get in better shape, become healthier, and get back into biking like I was several years ago.
