Which bicycle should i buy?

I'm 15 yr old guy and looking for a bike to help me travel to school faster, doing paper rounds etc... do you think i should get a men's bike or a boy's bike, that and any other recomendations are helpful! things like what other things should i buy ... where to buy them etc.
