Which Better Alltel or Verizion?

Actually, if your area hasn't switched to verizon yet, then chances are, it won't at all.
Yes, alltel was bought out by verizon, but not all of it will switch to verizon. Like the 2 others that replied depending on your area, you will be switched, but will probably be to AT&T. I have Alltel right now, and this switch probably won't occur until the end of the year.

Alltell has the fewest towers. They even pay to use some of At&t's. *which are already bogged down, and few in number*. Verizon has the best coverage right now. Verizon also has the best 3g. At&t will have the most 4g in a few months. Although you will end up with verizon anyway because alltell was bought by them. Good luck.
 
i am going to switch my cell phone provider and im debating between alltel and Verizon which carrier is better . Verizon has some really nice phones that i like alto i really didn't see anything that caught my eye with alltel. I don't want to make a decision by the phones i want to make a decision about the over all service..
 
Depending on your coverage area you may not have to make that decision. Verizon purchased Alltel back in November and only small service areas even offer Alltel. I'd say go with Verizon because if you choose Alltel you will eventually be swithced to Verizon. That was a pretty annoying process for me.
