i study/ have studied...
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (now)
Judo (now)
a little Wrestling (now)
a little Boxing (past)
Krav Maga (past)
and you?
just tell me your style(s), length of time you studied, and maybe rank (optional) and are you a retired artist or still hitting the dojo?
also, don't you love going to the dojo i love the "Mushin" that i feel when im there, makes me feel carefree.
...this isn't a question so much to help me, i think it'll be good to build the community and see what each others credential are and to say "i give you the utmost respect" to the seasoned artists
and truly if your only martial arts exp. is MMA don't answer........
my Dojo is my home my sensei is like a father (since i really don't have one) to me and the guys are all supportive of me to stay in school and stay out of troule and one guy takes me to the gym to workout cause money is too tight for me to get a gym pass... btw im 16 everyone there is 24 or older so i look up to them. their good role models for me and i feel a bond with them.
i like when a dojo has this atmosphere caue then when i start to get bored im still like YEAH JJ today
