I enlisted into the Army active duty as a 13Foxtrot in june of this year. My shipout date for OSUT is Sept21 and from what i understand, at basic, i get to create a wishlist of which base i would like to be stationed at. So does anyone know from experience, which base in the US has the quickest turn around time to be deployed to Afghanistan? I am proud to be serving my country, i belive it is a once and a lifetime opportunity, especially doing so during a time of war.
