I have a 2008 yamaha r6 and was interested in doing the 520 conversion.
would changing the rear sprocket to 48 be too much? i dont want to mess with the front. and which kit/brand would anyone recommend?
also, would the increase in low end torque cause the front to lift up even more at earlier rpms? i rarely hit higher speeds than 70 or go on highways, i ride alot around the city so would this be a good solution for faster acceleration?
thanks.
i say 48 because i am assuming 45 is stock..but maybe its 47 not sure..what im asking is would going up 3 teeth be too much?
