I tried comparing them and the only difference i really ran into was the need for a 3d transmitter for the sony. Samsung has 2 USB while the Sony only has one. Many similarities though.

Yes, I know there are not many 3d movies out there or many 3d viewing things, but aside from that, I'm buying this to improve my 2d viewing experience. I understand that waiting a couple of years would be alright but by then, i'll probably end up getting another one anyway.
