T Tumor Belly Guest Sep 2, 2008 #2 The wrist pin is the pin that connects the rod to the piston. It will not be an easy fix. You might run som Lucas Oil stabilizer in the oil. This treatment can help. You can get it at any Oreilly or Checker auto parts store.
