Where yuh headed this weekend?

Anyone headed to Deals Gap, the Dragon, Cherahaula, Pigeon Forge, Gattlingburg or Maggie Valley this weekend....the "Wheels Through Time" museum in Maggie Valley re-opened this past May...this weekend, Thursday through Monday (Sept 2-6th) they are open 9-5 and all Vets get in Free with a two year Museum Membership....It's an awesome place to visit....check out their website at www.wheelsthroughtime.com and look at the Vintage Cross Country Road trip from East Coast to West Coast.
 
We got home yesterday evening...stayed in Pigeon Forge a couple of days, one night in Maggie Valley, then back through Cherokee and down to Bryson City where we got on the old moonshiners road (hwy 28) at Hwy 19/74 and rode it to Walhala S.C.......lot of "S" curves and switchbacks.....be careful it's a lot like the dragon tail in places....beautiful scenery and well worth the time....Next trip is to do the Northern leg of 28 from 74 over to Deals Gap....We've done the Dragon and the Cherahaula several times....did the Blue Ridge Parkway three years ago (amazing ride)...Natchez Trace Parkway year before last, nice ride, but doesn't compare to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
 
Headed from Hickory NC to Wilkesboro, Boone, Mtn City ( Shady Valley) then to Johnson City for the night. Up early of Sunday and head to Maggie Valley for some R&R and a cold one. Spend the night and then take the long way home. Yall be safe out there.
