where was the outrage when Jerry Falwell said that the US got what it deserved on 9-11??

I don't remember that being made into much of a big deal. Wasn't it just as bad as Obama's
preacher friend who basically said the same thing??? Either way,, I personally think they were both wrong and out of their minds to suggest that.
