Well I am a Jeep Chick.. so I won't accept anything but Jeeps..
But, my current Jeep (04 Jeep Grand Cherokee SE) is too nice to take out and beat up.. trust me.. I tried it once.. lol
I am trying to find a CJ or something like that, but being a college student, I don't have tons of money.
I want something I can make look decent, but isn't going to cost much. Where is the best places to look?
What kind of things should I do to it to make it "mud" ready?
I live in Northeast Ohio, and would prefer not to travel to Cali to purchase one! lol
Thanks for the help ;)

since you are a jeep chick finding one shouldn't be a problem. on the other hand, MONEY decides how it "muds" really. competion jeeps cost thousands. $10,000-$50,000 just for a 500-800cid. engine, $5,000-$30,000 far complete custom frame to hold 750-1200hp!!!!! weekend playtoys can be price of jeep, tires that are made for mud, lift, $500-$5,000. first you need to know you budget, then ask how much fun you want to have.
