Lincoln Park!? I have two parties that are planned. One in the city around DePaul's campus/Lincoln Park and one in the suburbs (Des Plaines, Mt. Prospect, Arlington Heights) and we can go out further like Evanston and such if there's a place worth going to.
I would like to go to a hip fun bar, club, tavern that plays rock, indie, blues...pretty much anything but hiphop, techno/dance, country or pop music (or at least doesn't play it the entire night). Doesn't matter if there's live music or not.
If possible, I would love to stay clear from they typical Wrigleyville/jock crowds but I guess that isn't too important.
I tried looking at metromix but it's nicer if I got some kind of recommendations. Thanks in advance!
